My daughter has always had her own sense of fashion. She can wear the oddest things and totally get away with it. There have been times that I have cringed when she walked out the door, like when she wore a tie dyed skirt over one shoulder. I have waited for peer pressure to work in my favor - but nooooo! Her peers always say things like "you look so European", "what a cute outfit", and "I wish I could pull that off". One day I told her that she could probably wear a trash bag to school and everyone would think she looked cute. I let my daughter wear a trash bag to school and yes she did look cute. I can't wait to hear what everyone had to say!
Peer reaction: Overall the trash bag was a huge success! Most of the girls loved the idea and some would try it themselves. The guys just couldn't get past that it was a trash bag and admitted that they would never have the guts to wear it.
